“ An excellent dining experience overall! We were allowed to call 20 minutes ahead of arrival and reserve a spot in line. Yes it was crazy busy but our wait was only 5 minutes and the service was on point and very attentive despite. Anata easy to flag down a server for tea refills a and fresh plates and bowls. Food was front and centre. Every dish was prepared to absolute perfection. Decor was elegant. One of our new favourite northern Chinese cuisine restaurants. Looking forward to our next visit already! ”
“ Grabbed takeout roast duck from Dayali for a family dinner, and it was a hit! The duck skin was perfectly crispy, and the meat stayed juicy even after the drive home. The owner kindly explained how to reheat leftovers (pro tip: microwave for 40 seconds!). Loved the quick service and clean, modern restaurant—though parking nearby is really tight. We’ll definitely dine in next time to enjoy it fresh! A gem for duck lovers if you don’t mind circling the block for a spot. ”

“ Peking duck is good, I like it how they especially sliced out the few fattiest pieces to highlight the dish. Platting maybe could of been better. The overall taste of other dishes are good as well. “ Amazing place, great atmosphere and foods never disappoint. We always order Peking Duck to accompany other dishes. ”
“ Dayali Beijing Roast Duck restaurant specializes in its signature dish, Peking Duck, and it did not disappoint! We, like most of the people dining here, ordered the duck. The Premium Crispy Roast Duck is the classic choice, as it comes with the wrappers and accompaniments. Although they don't carve at the table, the duck arrives expertly carved and beautifully presented. Before enjoying the duck, we ordered leek dumplings and sauteed minced pork pie. The pie was superb - fresh off the fryer, with light, crisp crust and a savory meat filling. The dumplings are wonderful for leek lovers. We finished with the flavorful duck bone soup, and had plenty of leftovers to take home. The duck alone would have been enough for the three of us. Service was friendly and surprising swift for a Peking Duck meal. Debit and cash only. We will return next time the urge for Peking Duck strikes. ”
“ We aren't experts when it comes to Northern Chinese cuisine but the whole experience at this restaurant is memorable. Very clean, spacious, bright & beautiful dining experience. The staff are helpful with choosing menu items for newbies; you have to be a bit patient due to language barriers to communicate what you want/what they suggest, etc. We don't speak Mandarin and our order came out perfect. Portion to price ratio is reasonable. These flavours are not our personal preferences but we definitely appreciated the authenticity and experience of this restaurant, i.e. you can taste the care and cultural history in the dishes. Re the peking duck, the skin is light, crispy, and delicious - it's true we personally prefer Cantonese peking duck, but the Northern Chinese cook/flavours/preparation here is worth a try. Pig ear dish was yummy with a good amount of spicy heat. The hot pear drink is also highly recommended; was a nice treat and apparently good for health too :) ”
“ We came here for the Beijing Roast Duck, but left really happy knowing that this place as so many delicious options that work for all different palates. Besides the normal fare you would expect we really enjoyed the Sweet Potato with Salted Egg Yolk. It was the first time seeing it and we couldn’t pass up an item with salted egg yolk. Would highly recommend! We got here early on a weekday and found a table easily. However, all tables were full by the time we left around 7pm. This place is popular! Arrive earlier if you’re trying to avoid waiting for a table. ”
